About the practice
Innovative Network APIs grew from fieldwork inside Taiwanese finance departments where exception registers were busy and approval matrices quiet. We stay close to that origin.
Why we exist
Policy manuals describe how exceptions should be authorised. Day-to-day pressure — month-end close, customer escalations, system outages — is what actually shapes the trail. Our work sits between those two realities: sampling the register, walking the approval path, and writing findings process owners can act on.
We are not a statutory auditor and we do not sell monitoring software. Clients hire us for scoped reviews of exception handling and approval integrity, delivered by people who have sat through enough walkthroughs to recognise when a compensating control exists only on a slide.
